Our Story

Lace & Grace Hosiery began with a simple yet profound idea: to create hosiery that not only looks beautiful but also feels incredibly comfortable. Founded in 2020 by Eleanor Vance, a Seattle native with a lifelong passion for fashion and a keen eye for detail, Lace & Grace was born out of a desire to fill a gap in the market for high-quality, ethically produced hosiery.

Eleanor’s journey started with countless hours spent researching the best materials, from the softest Italian yarns to durable, eco-friendly blends. She visited local Seattle textile workshops, learning from master artisans and perfecting her craft. Her commitment to quality and craftsmanship is evident in every pair of Lace & Grace hosiery.

The first Lace & Grace collection was a small, curated selection of classic styles – sheer nude stockings, opaque navy tights, and elegant lace-top thigh highs. The response from Seattle’s fashion-conscious community was overwhelmingly positive. Women loved the comfortable fit, the luxurious feel, and the timeless elegance of Lace & Grace hosiery. Word of mouth spread quickly, and Lace & Grace soon became a local favorite.

Driven by the success of the initial collection, Eleanor expanded the line to include a wider range of styles, colors, and sizes. She also partnered with local artists to create limited-edition designs that reflect the vibrant spirit of Seattle. Lace & Grace Hosiery is now sold online and in select boutiques throughout the Pacific Northwest.
